Well, readers, I finished another one. I think it’s important to commit to something. I’ve committed to reading before bed every night as a way to wind down and just to reading overall. So here’s my next book that I read. It’s another NetGalley book, and it will be published May 15, 2022. That struck me because its the day before our anniversary!

The Nantucket Beachfront Inn is definitely a great beach read and was perfect for these cold days. It starts out with Ava, a New York attorney is burnt out from her life. She has two best friends, Hallie and Quinn, that get together for Wine Wednesdays. Ava loses her job and quickly finds out that she has inherited a former client’s mansion after his death. The catch? She has to live there for five years. She decides to move there and get it fixed up since one of her children lives in Nantucket. Keaton describes all the women’s hardships, struggles and triumphs. Each character gets time to share their perspective as they all start fresh in Nantucket. It definitely kept me wanting more and only took me 9 days to read it!

I’m excited to see what’s next in this series as this will be the first of 7 books in this series. As for snacking, coffee, hot chocolate, and pastries. That was my choice during the snow storm. What’s your go-to book and snack during a snow storm?
