Another romance novel in the bag this week. And another scientist as our protagonist. Rowan is a botanist who is recruited to help the Brady family rejuvenate the vineyard on their property. She has had a rough upbringing with her grandmother having sole custody of her before she passed away. Rowan’s mother is not a stellar example of parenthood either, so Rowan has limited experience with good family roots; however, Harrison (aka Harry) does. His family is close knit, welcoming and loving. Harry falls for Rowan almost immediately, but Rowan guards her heart. She knows that she has feelings for him and physically they are definitely attracted to one another.

Through Rowan’s inability to commit and Harry’s commitment to her, they split for several months to navigate what should be. Rowan discovers more about herself than she would have ever discovered before meeting Harry and inadvertently discovers she’s in love too. Harry’s family invites Rowan to his dad’s birthday party as a reunion of sorts, for Harry and Rowan to talk through their problem and they rediscover the love they’ve had all along.

This one comes out on 8/23/22 and it is one for the books. I gave it five stars and you should too. Go out and preorder now! It for sure will leave you wanting more of the love between doctors.
