by Ruth Ware

Wow….talk about a psychological thriller. This one had me at each turn and twist. I read this in October so it was perfect for a Halloween creepy read.
Lo is a journalist for Velocity, a travel magazine, and she is getting ready to go on a cruise for work. Her apartment gets broken into and she gets attacked by a stranger. She runs to her boyfriend Judah’s house even though she’s not expecting him home; he does come home and she attacks him in her sleep.
Lo goes on the cruise and believes there is a woman in the cabin next her, cabin 10. One of the nights, she hears a body being thrown from the cruise, so she tries to report it but no one believes her. Finally, she is kidnapped by the man who is sponsoring the trip, Richard Bullmer. His girlfriend is part of the scheme, but Lo gets too close. If you want to know how it turns out, you should read this one.
If you have read a Ruth Ware, it doesn’t disappoint for sure. If you haven’t, you should get to know her books because she is one of my faves. What do you like to read for Halloween? Do you choose suspense? Thriller? Horror?
