Stephanie Kilgour is a new mother of twin daughters who struggle with colic terribly. She is sleep deprived and struggling. Her husband, Patrick, is struggling too, but he’s the working spouse even though Stephanie has inherited a large estate from her deceased parents.

Erica Voss enters the scene and we learn that she is a sketchy character. And that is an understatement for sure. She comes to pay Patrick and Stephanie a visit in order to harass and blackmail them for a long ago situation. Patrick’s first wife died accidentally and Erica accuses him of murder, asking for a large sum of money as hush money or she’d have the case reopened.

When they refuse, Erica gets the case reopened and all hell ensues. Because this is such a great book, I want all of you readers to check it out, I’m not giving any more details. You must read and find out the outcome…
