Alright, readers. I finished this series. It was SOO good. There is a short prequel novella that I didn’t read, but the main books have been read. Hendrix has proven to be an up and coming romance novelist in my book.

This one focused on Cole Decker, the police officer in town, and Maggie O’Brien, the town florist. High school best friends turned enemies in the town. Each of them express deep feelings for one another to themselves, but not to the other person. The most important person of course. Decker and Maggie finally rekindle the feelings they had for one another, a deep passion, after Maggie falls into some water while chasing her new pet goat who escaped. Decker saves her and nurses her and then they fall for one another.

Each of them have secrets that they are too afraid to tell the other, but finally can’t fight the feelings anymore and how passionate they could be, and reveal their secrets to each other.

Read more and find out the juicy details. I’m sad to see the end of the series, and hope Hendrix feels like rekindling the Chikalu Falls crew.
