So, you’re going on vacation. The ultimate question is not usually how many pairs of underwear or socks you’re going to bring or what bag you’re going to use. It all usually comes down to how many books should I bring? Before the times of Kindle and Nook readers, it was critical to make sure you had space for said books and I know several people who were inclined to just leave them at the hotel for the next unsuspecting reader/visitor. Now, with Kindles and eReaders, it is so much easier to pack even MORE!
Katera and I were discussing how many books to have downloaded and at the ready for our upcoming cruise. We won’t have tons of Wifi access, so I know that I must download them before we get on the ship, or at least before we leave port. I always feel like I don’t have enough.
So how do you determine the number? Is it based on the days you’re gone? Is it based on the scheduled activities you have planned? Do you consider the length of the books? If you bring physical books, do you pack around the books or do your clothes find their way around the books?
I’ve decided on this trip to download two books on Kindle and I have one physical book. I hope this is enough, but then again, I might just download one more…and another…and another…you get it right?
