If you heard our podcast from last week, you know we read the first in this series. The second of the series is focused primarily on Nina LeJeune. Nina is back for another charter season when she sees her new crew now that Jo is working with Alex at their new restaurant. When Nina reaches the crew and sees that the new chef is none other than Ollie, she is beside herself. Ollie and Nina have had an on again off again relationship.

Ollie gives Nina an ultimatum that if she does not decide between continuing their marriage or he’s leaving to go back to Ireland. Yes, you heard me correctly, their marriage. Nina struggles with committing to Ollie even though hse does feel love for him. Ollie is frustrated with her but they come to a point where they confess their love for one another.

Nina is unable to commit and Ollie can’t continue liek this, so he leaves for Ireland to help his family. Nina struggles with being without the love of her life and enters therapy. I love that this author is committed to one’s bettering of self and that she promotes therapy in such a great way (I may be biased though).

Luckily, Jo and Alex’s wedding saves the day for Ollie and Nina. Nina and Ollie have an opportunity to rekindle their romance and their love for one another. Nina and Jo also find out that they are pregnant at the same time. What an ending and I’m waiting for number 3! What says you, Sarah Grunder Ruiz?
