I’ve read one of her books before and it is not for the faint of heart. Robert is a romance novelist and can be at times perhaps considered raunchy. Wicked Beauty is a retelling of the Olympus Gods story. In this installation, it is the third of the Dark Olympus series.

Helen Kasios decides she would like to be in the running and competition for the position of Ares. Her brother offers her as the prize wife for whoever wins the position. Patroclus and Achilles are also interested in the position but both have an interesting relationship to Helen. This relationship gets explored through the process of the trials and blooms and blossoms into something way more sexual and intense than any of them ever expected.

Find out who the winner is and who takes the whole prize. If you aren’t afraid of some smutty spice, Kay and I have recommended Katee Robert before but be forewarned.

I gave this one a five-star rating because it’s a good story and I did end up wanting to know more.
