I just love Colleen Hoover, can I just say that? This is my second of her’s and I just am…wow. This had me gripped the whole time, and I read it in 4 days flat! Can you believe that?

So unlike Verity, it is a romance novel. We are introduced to Tate and Miles primarily. Tate is a young girl who just graduated from Nursing school and is entering a Master’s program in New York. She moves in with her brother Corbin while she’s in school and working. Across the hall is her brother’s good friend and fellow pilot, Miles. Their first encounter is totally sketch, but it turns into something so much more.

Tate and Miles teach each other a thing or two about relationships, through the good, the bad, and the ugly of their past hauntings. Miles is cool and distant whereas Tate is loving and attached. Through many ups and downs, Tate is determined to break down Miles’ walls of disconnect and superficial feelings.
