by James Patterson

So like Patricia Cornwell, I love James Patterson. This is one of two series of his that I’ve read and fallen in love with, the Alex Cross Series. Again, they are fairly well written to be stand alone, but some of hte back history definitely helps.
This is number 25 and a lot has happened. Alex is a consultant to law enforcement agencies in the DC area, including the FBI. He is a psychologist by training and behavioral specialist for law enforcement. In this installation, Alex is brought back to some old cases that he worked on to question his skill, his integrity and who he trusts.
Patterson brings us through multiple thrilling hoops to find out who has been the killer impersonating other killers and who kidnapped his last two victims. If you like a good detective thriller set on the East Coast with some great family values, this one is for you. I usually blow through these books but only struggled for my time management because of school.
Five stars from me and I can’t wait for the next one! (I’m behind in the series by the way, so maybe you should catch up too!)
