What can I say? She’s one of my favorite authors and it has been too long since I dove into one of her books. I was devastated when she passed away! And she did not disappoint on this book either. Five stars from me.

Higgins Clark is known for some mystery stories. Kate is the daughter of an antiques mogul and she meets with a former employee and an explosion occurs. She is left brain injured and in a medically induced coma.

Meanwhile, we learn there is one dead woman and another missing. Somehow all three of these incidences are related. Kate’s father turns out not to be who anybody thought he was in more ways than one. Trust me, you will not be disappointed in the twisty ending!

It’s a fast read and easy to get through. Try any one of this authors master pieces and you won’t be disappointed!
