This was a great book. It had a lot of twists and turns and kept you guessing about what was happening next. It releases on December 10, 2024, so preorder it if you haven’t already!

We meet Addison who is married to Richmond Dougherty. They do not have a happy marriage and are only a couple of months in. Richmond is found dead at the bottom of the stairs and it spurs a murder investigation. Addison is the center of the investigation as everyone knew that the marriage was not happy. She has blackmail against Richmond also, which does not make the case anymore innocent.

Through all the twists and turns, we uncover the truth behind all the characters. It makes us think about how you can trust anyone and what are we all hiding?

I hadn’t read anything by this author before and she did not disappoint. Go ahead and preorder as this got five stars from me and you’ll enjoy it too!
