This is one of the last books in my Christmas tree from Kay. And it was a five-star choice! I really enjoyed it. Short chapters, kept me guessing and was an overall good story line.

Tully and Rachel are sisters and their mom has dementia. She has been placed in a nursing home due to her decline. Their dad falls in love with their interior designer, Heather, and they are to be married.

Each girl has their own demons that they battle. Each question Stephen’s (the dad) intentions and motives for his behavior. We learn that he may not be who he says he is.

Through a quick turn of events, there’s a dead body at a wedding and we’re all shocked.
