This was a really cute book. Usually fantasy is not my thing but this had a good balance of fantasy, magic and romance to keep me intrigued.

Isla is one of the rulers at the Centennial Games. She has a secret about herself that she tries to protect. She trusts Oro, the king, and has internal battles of whether she can trust him (or anybody) while fighting for her own life and her realm, her people.

I am definitely interested in this trilogy to keep reading on. The chapters do fly by and it captivated me the whole book. You should check this series for yourself.
