If you like the thrill of a chase in a book, this book is for you. Hart presents a story that makes you think throughout: where is this going? It was slow at first and then picked up towards the middle. There were times that it felt like where are we going and when are we getting there. I gave this one a 4-star rating.

Imagen is a newlywed who is on her honeymoon but finds some suspicious behavior from her new husband. She tracks him and discovers he may not be as honest and faithful as he presented himself to be. Tragedy strikes but it seems to bring them together. Until it doesn’t.

We also meet another character, Sierra. She was an ex-girlfriend of Lev (Imogen’s husband). It is unclear how she is connected until close to the end. Hart wraps the story in a bow with a semi-happy ending but we still have a lot of questions that makes us wonder all the W’s: who, what, why, when.

If you like a book that takes its time to explain some backstory and yet still keeps you on the edge of your seat and wondering what’s next, this book is for you. Check this one out and see others by Joe Hart.
