Wow! What a thriller. At first it was a slow start but one it got juicy, it got juicy! I have always enjoyed Paris’s writing so this was expected to be a good read! My only sadness is that I want to know what else happens to Alex and Nell!

Elle is a young girl who is eyewitness to a girl who is murdered. We learn that she gets entangled and obsessed probably as a traumatic response. She leaves her childhood hometown and starts a new life as Nell Masters and meets Alex. Bell starts to feel the same paranoia and hyper vigilance she felt before but unsure of how since no one knows of her past. After discovering who is after it, there is a body count of three and counting.

The ending is a happy ending but not after twists and turns. You really sympathize with Nell throughout the book. Read it yourself for all the nitty gritty details. Five stars from me. It came out 2/17/26 so grab it now!
