This was a great book and when a friend initially gave me this book because she landed with two copies, I didn’t realize that I had read another book by the same author. I really enjoy her style writing and am thoroughly looking forward to more.

This one is a story about an investigative reporter/podcaster, Rachel, who is featuring a rape trial in her newest season. She goes to a small town called Neapolis and follows the trial. Meanwhile, she receives these letters from a woman named Hannah who claims her sister was murdered but the police deemed it an accident; she wants Rachel’s help in proving it a murder. Rachel becomes intrigued and finds some connections. It becomes a little scary but Rachel and Hannah discover the truth and solve both crimes.

This one kept me guessing and it was refreshing for my brain to have to guess. It only took me longer to read due to time constraints but otherwise it grabbed me and held on! Definitely five stars! Check it out!
