By Liane Moriarty

I’ve read Liane Moriarty before and liked what she wrote but this book wasn’t the best. The story was interesting and captivating but there were too many details and secondary stores that made it hard to follow at times. The ending was also a bit disappointing.
Sophie inherits a house from Aunt Connie…though she is not her aunt. Connie is Sophie’s ex’s aunt. The family disagrees with this but they eventually accept because what other choice do they have?
In the midst of this, the family learns the truth about the mystery of the family’s legacy of their aunt and uncle who allegedly went missing.
Also, in the middle of this story is Grace who is struggling with postpartum depression. This novel is a collection of family secrets and how a close family gathers together to come to the truth.
Again, this was not the worst book and I would still recommend it but it was not my favorite either. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
