Wow…this had some twists abs surprises but what a great and fast read. If you read Gone Girl, you will like this one too! Trigger warning for sure for self-harm, Munchausen’s by Proxy and murder.

Camille is a reporter in Chicago and her boss wants to give her a chance to break out so he sends her to her hometown to cover two murders of two little girls. When she gets there, her past floods her.

Through many twists and turns and turns, Camille solves the murders of the two girls as well as the death of her own little sister. She begins to wonder what her own ability to care for others is.

Definitely a five star read for me. I will say it’s a heavy topic at times but such a good book. There’s also a HBO series based on this book. I’m getting ready to check that out next!
