I had this book from my mother-in-law and realized that it was a trilogy. You already saw the first book that I read so this is the second installment of the Lucky Harbor series.

The Sweetest Thing focuses on Tara and her story with Ford. They fell in love when they were 17 years old. Surprises and heartbreak happened and now 17 years later they are reunited and forced to face their relationship. Forced to see what they missed out on and forced to decide who they choose.

Surprise guests from their lives appear and show them what really matters in life. I’m so excited to see what’s next on this journey with these sisters. We still get to get a glimpse of Maddie’s and Jax’s life also.

Five stars from me and I can’t wait to keep it going. Make sure you check this series out. Don’t underestimate the power of lesser known authors and their ability to captivate an audience.
