I love love love Jodi Picoult’s books and this one was no different! I love her style, her research and her stories. She presents a social justice issue and then creates a fictional story around it.

Zoe and Max are expecting their first baby after enduring years of infertility, IVF and loss. When tragedy strikes, the marriage is over. Max and Zoe fight over the remaining embryos months after Ruthie divorce is final. The argument you ask? Religion vs. homosexuality and who makes a better parent.

Zoe feels the ultimate betrayal but the truth prevails and what is right is what the outcome is.

You should definitely check this book out. If you haven’t read a Jodi Picoult book, you should explore her books because they are magnificent! She’s one of my favorite authors and never ceases to amaze me.
