What a cute book. This was my mother-in-law’s book and I had it in my collection for some time. It was a bit hard to get into at first but then it was hard to put down.

The sucias are a group of six ladies who are Latinas. They are an odd mix of women coming from different backgrounds but who are there for each other through thick in thin. Not afraid to call each other out and not slow to report for their friendship duties! Each woman tells her story and how they heal themselves from the hurt they’ve endured.

An uplifting novel of Latina woman trying to make it in a white man’s world with the struggles of culture, language and relationships.

I gave it four stars because of how long it took me to draw me in and because some of the character development is weak. This is the first in a series so you should check it out!
