By Danielle Steele

Wow! I hadn’t read a Danielle Steele in forever. I was expecting the typical romance. Nope, not this one. But it was definitely heartfelt and heartwarming!
Helen is a pilot of a commercial plane and she is flying with an erratic angry copilot. Bernice is a TSA agent who finds a random postcard that gives her the creeps. She alerts Homeland Security, and it comes to fruition that the plane Helen is flying is in danger. It’s headed for the Golden Gate Bridge.
Through a variety of expertise and knowledge, there are several players in how the outcome ends up with the plane.
A story of unexpected heroes and how they are celebrated. You can always find a hero amongst random brave men and women.
Steele has a way with words that has you always wanting more and this is no different. It’s from 2018, but still relevant and still a great book. It had me wanting all the airplane snacks: goldfish, peanuts, and pretzels. Five stars from me! Enjoy!
